WWE Hell In a Cell 2015 Preview

WWE Hell In a Cell 2015 Preview

WWE’s Hell in a Cell is upon us! An event that has lacked in recent years should be pretty special this time around. Let’s take a look at the matches for this year’s card.

Six Man Tag Match: Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett

I love the pairing of Barrett and Sheamus. Adding Rusev to the mix has just made that team even more formidable. I’m expecting to see the faces win here because of how over the three of them are but it would be a very nice swerve to let the heels win cleanly. Especially since I think a European power stable would be an amazing addition to the roster that clearly needs some shaking up.

Hell in a Cell: The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

Finally this feud is coming to an end. I for one am not a fan of it, personally. But I understand its purpose and I will enjoy the match itself because I love the Undertaker but it is time to pass the torch. Obviously the Undertaker and Lesnar are going to have a crazy physical match. But I expect Lesnar to win this match. Hopefully WWE stays away from a screw job ending to this one and simply move on to setting up Brock versus the Rock for WrestleMania 32.

Hell in a Cell: Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

Reigns is getting better. That’s where I’ll leave that. But at this point it is time for Wyatt to stop being poorly booked and finally win a feud and not be just talk. I expect Wyatt to win but obviously with help from the Family. Strowman can easily rip the door off the Cell to gain entry but knowing WWE and their theatrics I expect Wyatt to do something “spooky” to win this match so Reigns won’t look “weak” in a loss.

World Heavyweight Title Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Kane

Obviously Seth isn’t dropping the title. Even though I would love for Kane to get one more run with the belt. Rollins is money in any and every match he is placed in so I expect this match to actually be better than many think it will be. It is time for the cowardly Rollins to win convincingly for once and this is the perfect time to do that.

WWE Divas Championship Match: Charlotte (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Charlotte will defend her title successfully. Has potential to be a very good match but most likely won’t be since the Divas division is full of clutter and zero direction. There will be at least six Divas involved in the outcome of this match and that is sad since it really could be so more than that.

WWE Tag Team Title Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Dudley Boyz

I was personally expecting this match to be a tables match and it still could be with the stipulation added at the last minute. Although the Dudleys are the greatest tag team in history, I do not see them taking the titles off of the New Day just yet because the New Day is full of momentum and entertainment.

Intercontinental Title Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Ryback

This match won’t be anything special. But I love watching Owens wrestle anybody so I’ll enjoy it. Owens will retain after absorbing a lot of the “Big Guy’s” offense.

Open Challenge for U.S. Championship: John Cena (c) vs. TBD

Cena is said to be taking time off. This match would be the perfect time to write him off and drop the title. Rumors are swirling but I hoping it’s a returning Sami Zayn. But who knows how they’ll write Cena off or how.

Sean Feral
Sean is pretty much “the bad guy”(metaphorically not negatively)…Sean was dubbed a “natural heel” by a handful of pro wrestlers about 8 years ago and Sean has embraced that role ever since. While covering the sports entertainment industry, Sean has met and interviewed many in the business and still loves the business now as much as he did as a kid. While most kids were cheering for the XMen, Sean rooted for guys like Apocalypse and Magneto. When everyone rooted for Hulk Hogan, Sean was rooting for the Iron Sheik. When you ask him “Why do you like the villain so much?” Sean always gives this answer, “The villain always tells a better story. Without their substance, there is little need for heroes.” Other than his love for villains, Sean is an overall sports dork and watches literally everything from WWE to Olympic curling to the NFL. Sean also loves humor, especially when it’s dark, well thought out, and witty.
