WWE NXT Spoilers 7-8-15

* Sasha and Charlotte defeated Dana Brooke and Emma

Dana Brooke and “Evil” Emma have a segment challenging WWE NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks to find a partner since she didn’t have one, so former NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte came to assist Sasha and says she’ll be Sasha’s partner if she gets another title shot. Sasha Banks agrees, and the women have a very solid tag match(as the NXT women usually do). The former BFF members Banks and Charlotte win leading to Charlotte asking Sasha for her title match next week, which “The Boss” Sasha Banks accepts.

* Solomon Crowe defeated Marcus Louis

Solomon Crowe seems to be lacking any sort of actual character direction in NXT so far. This was your standard “TV match” with some rest holds and time killing before Crowe gets the win. Louis is becoming a very impressive ring worker though.

* The Vaudevillians defeated Enzo and Cass in a #1 contenders match

I have been saying for awhile now that Enzo and Cass should be the NXT Tag Team champions. But for whatever reason the WWE won’t pull the trigger on them yet. Yes they are still very green, but Enzo is gold on the mic and that alone from the Smacktalker Skywalker has gotten these two beyond over with the crowd. In a build up to what we thought was going to be a tag title run, we saw it come to an end as the “Gentlemen of Strong Style”, the Vaudevillians, continue to impress the NXT Universe and took the #1 contender spot.

* Samoa Joe defeated Axel Tucker

Obviously, a squash match…Nothing impressive to note about it really. Just more showcasing Joe for those still unfamiliar with the “Samoan Submission Machine”.

Sean Feral
Sean is pretty much “the bad guy”(metaphorically not negatively)…Sean was dubbed a “natural heel” by a handful of pro wrestlers about 8 years ago and Sean has embraced that role ever since. While covering the sports entertainment industry, Sean has met and interviewed many in the business and still loves the business now as much as he did as a kid. While most kids were cheering for the XMen, Sean rooted for guys like Apocalypse and Magneto. When everyone rooted for Hulk Hogan, Sean was rooting for the Iron Sheik. When you ask him “Why do you like the villain so much?” Sean always gives this answer, “The villain always tells a better story. Without their substance, there is little need for heroes.” Other than his love for villains, Sean is an overall sports dork and watches literally everything from WWE to Olympic curling to the NFL. Sean also loves humor, especially when it’s dark, well thought out, and witty.
