Smackdown Spoilers for 7-30-15

Below are the WWE SmackDown spoilers from tonight’s tapings in Tulsa, Oklahoma set to air this Thursday on SyFy.

Seth Rollins is out to kick things off with a promo talking about John Cena and what happened on RAW. Cesaro comes out and cuts Rollins off and this sets up the first match of the show.

– Kevin Owens then comes out for commentary.

Rollins vs. Cesaro ends in a DQ when Owens attacks Cesaro.

Rollins stares down and goads Owens, but they both decide to team up and double team Cesaro instead.

Los Matadores and The Lucha Dragons defeated The New Day and The Ascension.

This was said to be your typical Smackdown tag match with a few high spots from the Luchadores who picked up the win.

– Summer Rae and Rusev came out for another promo about what happened on RAW with Lana attacking them and the fish.

Rusev defeated Jack Swagger

This is the same match we’ve seen these two have before, but this time Swagger was in his home state. Rusev continued to attack Swagger after the match, but Swagger took control and applies the Patriot Lock for a huge hometown pop.

Stardust defeated R-Truth in a very quick match.

Stardust has been wrestling short matches to kick off his feud with Neville and Stephen Amell. After the match, Stardust cut a promo in the ring but Neville attacked him.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro and a mystery partner he found.

The mystery partner ended up being Dean Ambrose. After some back and forth and some dominance by the heels, Ambrose countered the pop-up powerbomb which allowed Cesaro to roll Owens up for the win to end the show.

Sean Feral
Sean is pretty much “the bad guy”(metaphorically not negatively)…Sean was dubbed a “natural heel” by a handful of pro wrestlers about 8 years ago and Sean has embraced that role ever since. While covering the sports entertainment industry, Sean has met and interviewed many in the business and still loves the business now as much as he did as a kid. While most kids were cheering for the XMen, Sean rooted for guys like Apocalypse and Magneto. When everyone rooted for Hulk Hogan, Sean was rooting for the Iron Sheik. When you ask him “Why do you like the villain so much?” Sean always gives this answer, “The villain always tells a better story. Without their substance, there is little need for heroes.” Other than his love for villains, Sean is an overall sports dork and watches literally everything from WWE to Olympic curling to the NFL. Sean also loves humor, especially when it’s dark, well thought out, and witty.
