WWE Smackdown Spoilers for 8-13-15

This week’s Smackdown kicked off with a nice tribute to the late “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who lived in Portland for years. His family is at ringside.

Seth Rollins starts off SmackDown with another heat drawing promo about how he’s one of the greatest of all time such as Michael Jordan and Babe Ruth. He goes on to talk about his match with John Cena at SummerSlam and him being on Tough Enough and wants Cena to meet him on RAW to accept the SummerSlam challenge. Neville interrupts and wants another title shot but then out comes Cesaro. Kevin Owens shows up and attacks Cesaro from behind on the floor as Rollins beats down Neville in the ring.

Charlotte defeated Naomi with the Figure Eight.

– Video package for Stardust and Stephen Amell airs.

Ryback comes to the ring for a promo and we see a flashback for what happened on RAW during MizTV. Ryback talks about defending the Intercontinental title against The Miz and Big Show at SummerSlam but is cut off by Bo Dallas who wants to be added to the match at SummerSlam. Ryback insults Bo and Bo attacks but gets laid out with a Meathook clothesline.

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper come to the ring for a promo. Dean Ambrose comes out next followed by Roman Reigns for his match against Harper.(Still can’t get behind this angle at all, not even the great story telling of Bray Wyatt can save this)

Reigns defeated Luke Harper by DQ after Wyatt runs in and stops a pin.

The Prime Time Players defeated The New Day in a non-title match.

Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens defeated Cesaro and Neville after Rollins grabs the tights and “dirty pins” Cesaro

Sean Feral
Sean is pretty much “the bad guy”(metaphorically not negatively)…Sean was dubbed a “natural heel” by a handful of pro wrestlers about 8 years ago and Sean has embraced that role ever since. While covering the sports entertainment industry, Sean has met and interviewed many in the business and still loves the business now as much as he did as a kid. While most kids were cheering for the XMen, Sean rooted for guys like Apocalypse and Magneto. When everyone rooted for Hulk Hogan, Sean was rooting for the Iron Sheik. When you ask him “Why do you like the villain so much?” Sean always gives this answer, “The villain always tells a better story. Without their substance, there is little need for heroes.” Other than his love for villains, Sean is an overall sports dork and watches literally everything from WWE to Olympic curling to the NFL. Sean also loves humor, especially when it’s dark, well thought out, and witty.
